.- Start: Do not step on the accelerator when engine start. In diesel vehicles wait a few seconds, using the 1st gear as possible. For petrol cars change gear as quickly as possible.
.- Use of the gears: Switch to a higher gear as soon as possible, always trying to move to higher gear with the engine operates with a low speed range.
.- Acceleration: Accelerate gradually gear when engine speed is between 2,000 and 2,500 rpm whith a petrol car and 1,500 to 2,000 rpm when a diesel one.
.- Deceleration: Avoid cutting shorter gears, because this action triggers the consumption. With the gear engaged, lift the foot from the accelerator lightly and will gradually lose speed.
.- Stop: In prolonged stoppages, we recommend turning off the engine.
.- Speed: We must maintain a constant speed to the proper path where we are driving.
.- Driving Style: Keeping a safe distance between the vehicle with respect to the foregoing we will help to increase our field of vision while avoiding sharp reactions.
.- Tires: The tire pressure has a direct influence on the consumption of the vehicle up to 4%. Monitor monthly tire pressure, always cold, and pay attention to the manufacturer's recommendations.
.- Air Conditioning: The temperature should be around 24 degrees, preferably using air conditioning to open the windows, as this would cause a drag and a corresponding increase in consumption.
.- Elements unnecessary: Remove unnecessary weight from the trunk and rear seats because the higher the weight higher fuel consumption.
